Floral prints always catch my eye, the more abstract the more appealing they are to me. I bought this tropical inspired floral midi skirt from Forever 21 on a Saturday when they offered 40% off one item to their VIP customers. It ended up costing me less than $10! I could not locate the exact skirt online so you may have to visit your local store to see if they have it? As always I listed similar options below. The tank is a basic I bought from H&M last summer and is no longer available but I found one almost identical at Macy's. I wore metallic wedges for a fun twist and as not to add more color to clash with the outfit.

Trapeze Dress

The trapeze dress gets its name from the geometric shape of a trapezoid. A trapeze dress is pretty  much shaped like a tent and may seem like it would look shapeless and unflattering. However, when fit and styled in the right way they can be fun and flattering not to mention oh so comfortable and easy to wear! Since there is no defined waist and the dress itself has a lot of volume it looks best in a shorter length. Dressed up or down this dress can be flattering on any shape with the right length and accessories. Something to keep in mind is the fit, you want the size to be body skimming since the dress itself is so full. The right belt can also add a little definition to the waist for those who need it. I got one of several great printed trapeze dresses from Express (they are currently 40% off!). I think the color I am wearing is now sold out, but I listed several other great color and print options. I added a camisole and wedges to dress it down a bit and the black fringed bag for fun!

White Jeans

Lighten up your denim for spring and summer in white! White jeans are a closet staple that is more sophisticated than your regular indigo denim. They come in every style to suit all shapes and sizes. I chose a low rise skinny pair with slight distressing at the knee from Old Navy. They have a bit of stretch in them so they fit comfortably and are a bargain at $25! To complete my summery look I added a loose fitting crop top and a pair of gladiators. I will definitely have more white jean looks as the summer continues!

Flower Power

I am obsessed with mixing prints! There are so many different ways to mix them but keeping in mind a color scheme, size of the prints and fabric textures you can't go wrong. I love flowers and floral prints always appeal to me. The colors of this top and shorts along with the small floral print versus the large floral print make this mix work. I kept the rest of my look simple and springy with the white accents of the jacket and sandals.

I love bold colors! The combination of the rusty red midi skirt and blue green top caught my eye. This midi skirt is one of my favorite styles from Express and I am obsessed with them! These were available in store but only in certain colors, the more exotic colors were online exclusives that sold out pretty quickly! The top is from Charlotte Russe and the sandals and accessories I've had for a while but found similar options and listed below. I added the coordinating lipstick for fun! Happy Weekend!
