Layering is a great way to personalize an outfit. Typically dresses are layered with jackets, vests or shirts. Why not try layering your dress with a skirt? Short or long the right skirt can add interest to a simple dress. This cool dress I'm wearing is a basic sheath style with an apron like organza skirt layered over it. The skirt fits easily over the dress with adjustable snaps in back. I got it from NY&CO while they were having BOGO 1/2 off on everything. It is perfect for a mother's day outing this coming weekend! Coincidentally I just happen to own a pair of shoes with a floral print that exactly matches the dress! I may have gotten a little carried away but I could not resist pairing them together for a fun, feminine look!
